We received an order to deliver goods to a ship that was departing from the port of Marseille in the south of France. The transport arrived at its destination on time. However, on the spot it turned out that the shipowner had accelerated the departure time of the container ship without informing our client. The ship was already at sea. We activated the crisis staff. We obtained information that the cargo ship, before sailing to Africa, would still stop in Genoa, Italy. We decided to catch up with it by land. We succeeded, allowing the cargo to be reloaded and arrive at the destination port as planned.
